When I think of Club Med, I think of…

The 45 ways we make people smile.

I get my inspiration from…

The strangers whom I meet when I travel and from strangers on Instagram who see the world differently.

In the past week, what was the most memorable thing that someone said to you?

“Thanks for always being cynical”. That quote in itself is cynical. We find all ways to keep going these days.

What brings the best out of you / When are you your best self?

When I experience the joy from people around me becoming their best selves... Exceptional people are daring, they dare to dream, and start everything with the mindset that victory is just round the corner. My team is like an inventory of talents.

What do you love most about Club Med?

We are beyond hospitality. We purposefully help people better experience the world.

What have you learnt about yourself amidst the COVID-19 pandemic?

I succeeded in discovering how to slow down at the right moments to appreciate the simple little things.

What is one thing you’ve learnt to appreciate during the pandemic?

With less human connections, I have actually nourished a greater desire to better understand people.

How have your passion points changed in the past year?

My passion points have not changed but what’s changed is how deeply I would now like to pursue my passions. I now have new perspectives of my sense of wellbeing and how much more I would like to get out of travelling.

After what has happened over the past year, has your dream destination changed and why?

My first destination is to go back to my favourite city, Seoul, to see how much has changed yet be surprised by how much has remained the same.

What is it about the destination you’re in or what can you do in the coming week to help the people around you to get back to their best selves?

Everyone has an awesome side hidden away somewhere. Surround yourself with inspiring and happy people. And when you surround yourself with goodness, amazingness surfaces.

2021 is the year to get Back to Happiness. I am going to…

Make every decision and action count.
