Japan National Travel Discount is a newly introduced subsidy program launched by Japanese Government to boost domestic tourism. The program plans to financially aid applicants to receive up to a 40% discount on their travel fees and distribute additional coupons that could be used at their destination.

How to Apply
Follow below to apply to the Japan National Travel Discount.
*Bookings via Club Med’s official website and Call Center will be subject to support discount applications. If you have made a booking through travel agencies or online travel agencies, please be sure to contact the agency you completed the booking with.
1. Complete bookings by setting payment with [Deposit] only
Please complete booking by selecting to make payments with [Deposit] (20% of the total amount) at "Payment Step". Please do not select to pay the full amount.
*Discounts are not applied at this step.
*Bookings with deposit are available for dates 13+ days prior. If you would like to book a stay within 12 days or earlier, please book via call center.
2. Apply for discounts (Japan National Travel Discount)
Once you have completed a booking, fill in our Discount Application Form with the necessary details and proceed to application as soon as possible. Our staff will be reviewing your form and will contact you via email within 5 business days. Please check your inbox for the confirmation email that contains updated booking details and total payment amount with applied discounts.

3. Confirm Discounts & Finalize Payments
Check the resent booking confirmation email’s attachment. This should contain the amended total amount, voucher details and other discount information. Once confirmed please be sure to make payments by the due date and you are ready for the holiday!
*In case you receive a confirmation email without any applied discounts, please disregard the payment due date. Please wait for a confirmation email with the amended details and make payments accordingly.
Destination Coupons
All coupons will be handed upon check in. Coupons can be used within Club Med’s shops within resorts or any shops or restaurants participating in the Nationwide Traveler’s Support Program.

Q. Can the travel discount be applied to all Club Med resorts?
Resorts eligible for discount applications are the following (As of October 18th)
- Club Med Kabira Ishigaki
- Club Med Tomamu Hokkaido
- Club Med Sahoro Hokkaido

on any other updates made by Japanese government.
Q. Please specify “Weekdays” and “Holidays” stated on the destination coupon.
If the accommodation date and the following day are both Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, it will be defined as a "holiday". The other accommodation days will be treated as "weekdays".
Q. Can the travel discount be used together with other promotional coupons/campaigns?
Yes. Japan Travel Discount can be applied to any other on going campaigns or promotions held by Club Med.
Q. Applications for the Japan Travel Discount require either a third vaccination or proof of PCR test results. Is the original copy necessary?
Copies, screenshots or pictures are accepted as well. Customers who cannot show the proof of above at check-in will be charged additional fee of the discount amount.
Q. I have submitted the application form and have checked my inbox. I still have not received a confirmation email. Should I be worried?
It takes up to 5 days for the confirmation email to be sent. Our staff will review your application and get back to you as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience.
Q. Can I apply for the discount after arriving at the resort?
Applications upon arrival are not accepted.
