What town to depart from
You can fly from several airports in Switzerland. The stay includes a departure from Geneva, Zurich or Basel - Mühlhausen. When you book your all-inclusive trip to Canada, you will be able to choose from these departure destinations and include the plane ticket in the price of your stay.
How to fly to Canada
- To get to the Charlevoix region in eastern Canada, you can fly to the airports of Montreal or Québec.
- The flight between Switzerland and Canada lasts an average of 8 hours. For example, the flight time from Geneva to Montreal is 8 hr 05 min.
- If you choose our package with transport, both the outward and return transfers between the airport of Québec or Montreal and the Québec Charlevoix Resort are included.
Arrival airports
As the Resort is located in eastern Canada, the nearest airports are in Québec City and Montreal.
- Québec City airport is 1 hr 30 from the Resort
- while the one in Montreal is 3 hrs 25 mins away.
These two main airports in eastern Canada run flights from many airports across Switzerland and Europe. Once you arrive on Canadian soil, you can get to the Resort using a transfer service which is included in your package if you take flights with Club Med.
What you need to enter Canada
Before leaving on your all-inclusive trip to Canada, make sure you have completed all the entry admin.
- Anyone of French, Belgian or Swiss nationality is exempt from a visa for a trip of at least 90 days.
- However, travellers from these countries must present a permit called Electronic Travel Authorisation. It costs 7 Canadian dollars and you can pay online. Anybody under the age of 18 must also comply with this permit when travelling to Canada.
- Last but not least, if you are going to be travelling to Canada with a minor but you are neither their parent nor legal guardian, you will need signed permission from their parents or legal guardians in addition to the Electronic Travel Authorisation.

Whether you choose to book your all-inclusive trip to Canada in winter or summer, it always includes plenty of activities. When winter arrives and snow falls on the Charlevoix region, the mountains become perfect places for family adventures. You can enjoy many activities on site.
