Fun and Adventurous Nature Getaways

Bali has numerous places you can go to in order to disconnect from the world. Most of the island is covered in awe-inspiring natural beauty, so if you are a nature lover, here are some excursions you can consider going on when you stay with us:

Bali Tropical Safari - Get into a 4x4 and drive around the beautiful rice paddies located on the slopes of Mount Batukaru. In the afternoon, indulge in a Balinese lunch at one of the villages while taking in the rare view of Baraban Beach with its unique black volcanic sands.

Day Trip to Lembongan Island - Get off the boat on the white sands of the clean and pristine Lembongan Islands, and spend the day with several different interesting activities. Lounge on the sands, take a tour of the nearby village, snorkel, or walk on the seafloor with the fun and safe Aquanaut helmets to properly immerse yourself with the gorgeous marine surroundings. A Club Med Bali excursion not to be missed!

Telaga Waja/Ayung Rafting - Go downstream on your raft at the Telaja Waja or Ayung rivers, and be prepared to get wet! Take in the amazing sights and get a glimpse of what authentic rural Balinese life looks like for locals as you make your way along the river.

Dolphin-watching - This is an especially exciting excursion for those who have kids. Head out early in the morning and watch dolphins swimming along Nusa Dua coast. An opportunity not to be missed!

Immerse Yourself in Peaceful Balinese Culture

Indonesia is a melting pot of different practices, but Bali is especially unique with its heavy Hindu influences. There is much to learn about Balinese culture, and some of the Club Med Bali excursions you can join to further delve into this culture include:

Best of Bali (additional fee applies) - Go on this full-day tour if you want to visit a range of different Balinese attractions and get a broader overview of the culture on this island. Go to the Tegunungan Waterfall, Tirta Empul temple, Gunung Kawi mountain, Tegalang rice terraces, and even a stop at Lakeview Restaurant where you can dine with calming volcano views.

Tanah Lot Sunset (additional fee applies) - Before you end up at the birthplace of Balinese Hinduism known as Tanah Lot, first visit Sangeh Monkey Forest and admire the various flora and fauna there. Then, proceed to Taman Ayun Temple, a sacred shrine built for ancestors of the Balinese. The finale of the tour is, of course, a visit to Tanah Lot, where you can witness a once-in-a-lifetime view of sunsets over cliff rocks and raging ocean waters.

Kecak Dance@Uluwatu (additional fee applies) - Explore the amazing Uluwatu temple, a clifftop temple with on the southern tip of Bali with great ocean views. In the evening, take a seat and watch Bali’s famous Kecak dance, an epic blend of the Hindu saga called Ramayana with Balinese exorcism ritual. Be enchanted as you watch flamboyantly dressed dancers act out the story. Afterwards, head back to our resort or opt for a seafood dinner at Jimbaran.

There are also excursions to Borobudur, which you need to take a one-hour flight to get to, and another version of a complete Bali tour that focuses more on the less touristy, culturally-rich destinations on the island.
