The French Alps

THE CLIMATE IN SAVOIE
Temperate and continental in nature, the Tarentaise Valley enjoys a rather dry and sunny climate characterized by cold, snow-covered winters and warm summers. In spring and autumn, the foehn is a warm and dry wind that is found throughout the Alps. It quickly warms the earth, allowing vegetation to recover and in autumn, it favors the ripening of the fruit.

The Valmorel Apartments-Chalets are located 20 minutes from the Moutiers Salins high-speed train station, 1h20 from Chambéry-Voglans airport, and 2h from Lyon-Saint Exupéry, Grenoble Alpes Isère and Geneva-Cointrin airports.

A graduate of the Boulle Design School, Marc Hertrich is a member of various architectural firms. His name became a reference in the Swiss luxury world, then throughout the world. With Nicolas Adnet, he founded the Studio MHNA, one of the leading influencein contemporary interior design. They have created, among others, the Sofitel hotel in Lisbon, the Martinez hotel in Cannes, the Richemond in Geneva and restaurants such as the Jarasse in Neuilly, the Absinthe and the Dessirier in Paris in collaboration with the star chef Michel Rostang, and the Gare in Paris.
