THE CLIMATE IN SAVOIE

Temperate and continental in nature, the Tarentaise Valley enjoys a rather dry and sunny climate characterized by cold, snow-covered winters and warm summers. In spring and autumn, the foehn is a warm and dry wind that is found throughout the Alps.
