The Aiguille Percée

The minerals in this spectacular geological formation create a truly fascinating world. You can discover this lunar landscape on foot or by bike. Sporty visitors can choose the "Smoothie" mountain bike trail, which will take them to altitudes over 2500 m. Electric bike enthusiasts are sure to enjoy the "E-Zyride" trail, which winds through the wild lakes of Chardonnet. Whether you're going for a family walk or hitting the trails, the Aiguille Percée can also be accessed on foot thanks to the Palafour ski lift.

Heading for the glacier

Nestled at the bottom of a valley with eternal snow, the Glacier de la Grande Motte offers multiple experiences. At this time of year, the glacier slopes of the largest ski area in the Alps are a fantastic playground for ski enthusiasts. Mountain enthusiasts can also climb up to the deck of the aptly-named Panoramic cable car and enjoy spectacular views of the legendary peaks of the Alps, from the Vanoise National Park to the Mont Blanc massif. The more adventurous can test their skills in the high mountains, armed with crampons and in total safety, thanks to the experience of a guide.

The beating heart of the resort in the summer, the lake and its shores are also the perfect spot for gentle walks and more advanced trail hikes.
