Sanctuary of Asclepius in Epidaurus
You’ll find this ancient sanctuary in the lush setting of a Peloponnese valley. Dedicated to the god of medicine Asclepios, this gigantic amphitheater used to welcome pilgrims who came here to convert to the cult of medicine. Considered one of the masterpieces of ancient architecture, this monument leaves a lasting impression on all who see it. Architecturally close to ancient Greece, the museum’s major collections retrace the history of Macedonia and its capital: Thessaloniki. It’s a great way to immerse yourself in the daily life of the ancients, through masterpieces (Derveni krater, sarcophagi etc) and everyday objects (bracelets, crowns, papyrus and the like).
Archaeological site of Olympia
The archaeological site of Olympia takes you back to the days of ancient Greece. In the heart of the Peloponnese Valley, the site is one of the country’s archaeological treasures, and one of the greatest memories from your all-inclusive holiday in Greece. The mythological and historic site of the Games, here you’ll discover the remains of its famous sports arenas. As it’s located around the archaeological museum, you’re welcome to walk among the millennia-old remains. As the highlight of your visit, the ancient theatre takes you back to the 5th century BC. You should also consider visiting the House of Mosaics to discover some superb pieces from the period.
The Monasteries of Meteora
In central Greece, 3 hr 30 min from Club Med Gregolimano resort, come and see these unmissable monuments to Greek Orthodoxy. In the heart of Thessaly, amid the mountain vegetation where rocky peaks stretch skyward, is where you’ll find the Great Meteoron cliff-top monastery. Since the 14th century, it’s been the largest and highest monastery in active use in the region. Quite an inspiration for your all-inclusive holiday in Greece!

Corinth Canal
Spectacular both in terms of its size and history, the Corinth Canal promises you a memorable passage of over 6km through a narrow neck just twenty or so metres wide. Its steep walls, which plunge into the clear, shallow water below, the work of a French company, offers some striking landscapes. Little visited, the site offers an original family outing, 4 hours from Club Med Gregolimano resort.
Agios Ioannis Sto Kastri
If you’re prepared to climb its 198 steps, you won’t find a view like it anywhere in Greece. Overlooking the Aegean Sea, the little chapel of Agios Ioannis delivers a dazzling panorama over 100m above sea level. Built on a rocky peak jutting out into the sea, the site, which served as the setting for the film "Mamma Mia", offers some wonderful scenery.
The Athens Acropolis
It’s the most famous hill, not just in Athens, but in all of Greece. The Acropolis has watched over the Greek capital for thousands of years, just 3 hr 30 min from Club Med Gregolimano resort. Windmills
These windmills stand in proud testimony to the winds that blow across Mykonos, the most famous of the Greek islands, in the heart of the Cyclades. Above the little white houses, you’ll easily make out these venerable windmills, around 400 years old and now converted into guest houses and museums. All very poetic, the site offers a spectacular, romantic view from the hill overlooking the Aegean Sea and the surrounding islands.
