• Bintan Island has a very similar climate to Singapore, with warm temperatures all through the year. Afternoon temperatures are usually around 29°C-31°C meaning that a splash in the pool or a swim in the sea is always pleasant.
• The sunniest and calmest period of the year and perhaps therefore the best time to visit Bintan Island is the dry southwest monsoon season from early June to late September. This being a tropical destination there is still quite a bit of rain in those months, but rainfall usually comes in short, heavy bursts in the afternoons.
• From October to May it’s the northeast monsoon season with more rain and wind - though it’s still mainly sunny - whilst there can be stronger gusts and downpours in typhoon season, from early October to late December.
