Club Med Recognises Frontline Healthcare Workers with Free Resort Stays and Helps You Celebrate the Everyday while Staying At Home
As the world works to overcome COVID-19, Club Med, the leader of premium all-inclusive resorts, is stepping up to recognize, appreciate and bolster healthcare workers who have so tirelessly helped alleviate the impact of the virus on the community in Kuantan and across the State of Pahang.
Club Med understands the selfless deeds of all healthcare workers in their everyday acts of humanity, love and triumph. As a gesture of appreciation, Club Med extends 200 free resort stays at Club Med Cherating to the frontliners at Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital in Kuantan. Their healthcare staff will be able to enjoy a 3 Days 2 Nights getaway with their loved ones for a holiday package that includes 2 adults and 1 child. The free resort stays will be valid for one year once domestic travels are permitted.
In addition, Club Med has also donated 1,000 units of N95 masks and 2,000 units of surgical masks to the hospital, as well as to the Cherating District Police Station.
Vijay Sharma, General Manager, Club Med South East Asia, said: “Our hearts go out to the people who have been affected by this exceptional event. Although these are trying times for all of us, the frontline healthcare workers have been the beacon of hope as they work to contain the situation. Club Med Cherating supports their contribution and hard work. Hosting and serving them in return is our way to tell the courageous frontliners, thank you”
Club Med Cherating’s staff, or better known as GOs (Gentils Organisateurs) also came together to provide homemade bread for medical staff on duty at the hospital.
